The national average for utilities, including electricity, water, and garbage service,
is about $62 for a small apartment. Unlimited Internet service costs
about $50 per month across the country. 

Food

Locally produced food in markets is generally inexpensive.
The average price of a loaf of bread is about $1.45, a dozen eggs cost about $1.29,
and boneless, skinless chicken breast costs about $2.84 per pound.
All types of international food products, including cheeses, beer, and chocolate,
are available in Punta Cana.
Try to stick to local-brand products whenever available as is much cheaper.
If you pick good you can have an exciting diet on $200 or less.
On a $1,500 budget, you won't have much room for restaurant dining.
A cheap meal in a busy neighborhood restaurant costs about $5 to $7 in
some restaurants. Expect to pay around $30 for a three-course meal for two people
at a mid-range restaurant, not including alcoholic drinks.
For a cheaper option, Punta Cana have delicious meals are available for under $3
from neighborhood food carts.

Other Expenses

Cleaning items, personal hygiene products, are generally inexpensive in the Dominican Republic.
You can meet a budget of about $100 per month in this category. 
Punta Cana have public bus systems, motorcycle taxis, known as motoconchos,
are ubiquitous in places like Punta Cana,
Uber is also available by the moment in this area and of course traditional taxis
also wait at designated stops, Taxi fares must be negotiated.
